This is a gorgeous stone that looks like a mixture of Autumn leaves in reds and golds.
This type of fossil became extinct 66 million years ago!
I made the setting from sterling silver. The chain is also sterling. I added leaf shapes in silver and copper with amber and garnet gemstones. This ammonite measures approximately 1 and 1/2" and the chain is 19".
I made this necklace by hand in my little studio. All my jewelry comes attractively packaged.
